15 Thoughts You’ll Have If It’s True Love
“I love you” — 3 small words with many big meanings.
Love, while in itself a feeling, is comprised of a variety of internal thoughts that we have over the course of a relationship.
When we say “I love you” to someone, there are implications that go along with it. Unspoken promises that we make. Things we think about our partner, the relationship, and ourselves, that have led us to this conclusion of: “This means love.”
Below, we’ll discuss some of the thoughts that are sparked when real and true love exists.
The thoughts that float in your mind when you look into the eyes of your partner and say the three little words that carry huge meanings: I love you.
These are just some of those meanings (and the commitments they carry with them) that aren’t said out loud.
1: “I fully accept you as you are.”
To love someone is to see them for who they truly are, beneath all of the filters, or the makeup, or that glorious Viking beard.
We must see and understand our partner beneath the surface. Intimacy and connection are built through uncensored honesty and vulnerability (we’ll get into this more later).
