5 Questions That Determine If They’re Your Forever Person

The answers should all be “yes.”

First thing’s first — I’ve openly said before that I don’t think “the one” exists in the traditional sense. That’s to say, I don’t believe we are destined to match with one single person by some sort of fate or intervention.

I do think, however, that we choose “the one” that we want to put in effort for, to show up for, to build a life with, and to grow old with.

This decision carries hefty weight, of course, since it quite literally determines the course of the rest of our lives.

Asking these 5 questions will help determine whether or not we’re making the right choice:

1: “Is this the first person I want to share big news with?”

Whether good or bad news, there is a first person that pops into your mind when something happens. There is usually a thought of “wow, I can’t wait to tell so-and-so about this!” Or, “Oh no, I need to talk to so-and-so about this…”
