5 Ways To Embrace Your Uniqueness
Originals are always more valuable than copies.
From the moment we’re born, we begin to get labels put on us. We are “this” or “that” and immediately get treated as such from that point forward.
We are shaped by the world around us. People treat us a certain way based on “what” or “who” we are.
This is an uncomfortable truth, but a truth nonetheless. What is also true, though, is that these molds and labels are total bullshit.
You know it, too.
You’ve always felt that twinge inside of you that lets you know you’re different from everyone else. You have different interests, a different mindset, unique beliefs — you’d rather be on your own exploring your interests than pretending to be social with people you’ve got nothing in common with.
While that should be perfectly fine, society has a way of ostracizing those who don’t fit into their mold. Maybe something’s wrong…maybe they need help…maybe they are [insert label of choice here].
This is why so many people just slip into the mold they’re given rather than breaking it wide open and discovering who they really are. That means you’re risking ridicule or judgment from others.
