5 Ways To Spot Healthy Masculinity

And avoid the toxic kind.

A few years ago (when I still had hair), I returned to Las Vegas Now to discuss a commercial by Gillette that made a lot of waves on social media.

The commercial was about being a better man, and showcased some actions such as men breaking up fights, or stopping other men from approaching women at inappropriate times.

Inevitably, the backlash was massive. Men all over boycotted Gillette and promised to never use their products again.

A silly and irrational response that outed many of these men as unwitting supporters of the very actions that the ad condemned. I publicly spoke out against their inability to recognize the difference between toxic masculinity and masculinity as a whole. This, of course, rallied even more backlash in my direction.
