7 Reasons Men Avoid Dating Strong Women

(And why they need to stop).

This is a topic I’ve written about for years, but I’m writing this piece because I’ve noticed a trend lately:

I’ve taken on a variety of new coaching clients over the past 2 weeks who all share a few things in common:

• They’re all women.
• They’re all highly successful — C-Suite executives or multi-7 figure CEOs.
• They’re all actively looking for a relationship.
• They’re all consistently disappointed by how men (according to one of them), all either want “a nurse or a purse.”

So — what’s going on?

Men shying away from dating successful or powerful women is not a new thing — but I do think some of the reasons remain a mystery, and of course are different for everyone.

Let’s explore and discuss a few possibilities:

1: They’re not sure where they fit into her life.

Do I think we should go back to the ways of the 1950’s and 60's? Of course not.

Do I think men had a clearer vision of their roles and responsibilities in those times? Yep.
