8 Positive Mindsets To Embrace About Being Single
It’s an opportunity to learn about yourself.
I recently had a deep and meaningful call with a coaching client. She is a high-profile partner at a large company who has created immense amounts of success in her professional life.
Upon further exploration of her relationship patterns, though, we uncovered some insecurities around being a “single mom.”
The internal narrative that perpetuates itself due to the perception around this piece of her identity has held her back and even pulled her into the wrong relationships.
Why?
Because when we feel insecurity or shame around a piece of ourselves, no matter what the other pieces look like, our self worth becomes damaged, whether we consciously realize it or not.
The fix: We need to re-frame our self talk around points like this so we can develop a more productive and positive view of ourselves and make decisions that better serve us.
In other words: Change your perspective about your circumstances so you can feel better about yourself. This will result in more positive decisions.
