8 Rare Traits Good Men Should Be Proud Of

Since day one of my writing journey more than a decade ago, I always pledged to “stay in my own lane.” That is, to never write about things I didn’t have direct experience with, nor that I wouldn’t strive every day to achieve myself.

This is why, prior to getting married or having kids, well, I never wrote about marriage or parenting.

Through the past decade, I’ve grown and changed immensely (as I hope we all have), and as a result, my philosophies and ideas have come along for the ride.

Some, however, have simply been reinforced by putting them into practice to see if they were viable “in real life.”

In this article, I’m going to distill 8 areas of a man’s life that I believe he should take pride in — many of which we’ve lost sight of over the years, particularly as our social landscape has shifted underneath us.
