How Strong Men Balance Both Masculine And Feminine Energy
They’re harmonious strengths, not opposing ones.
Allow me to time-travel with you all the way back to 2019, (when I still had hair), during my 2nd appearance on Las Vegas NOW. I discussed a Gillette advertisement that some of you may remember as being highly controversial at the time.
The ad featured a variety of behavior that was, then, being coined as “toxic masculinity.” Gillette as a brand was encouraging men to be better — which did not sit well with much of their, let’s say, more old fashioned customer base.
Many men felt as though they were being shamed for their masculinity and that they couldn’t “be men” anymore.
My philosophy has always been that “being a man” requires balance. Nuance. An emotional and physical strength that operates with kindness, integrity, and honor.
