I can't bring myself to understand how a criticism of men - something I've done for 10+ years in public media - is a pandering to their egos. I am literally removing excuses for poor character with this article by encouraging men to step up to the plate and choose to be better. Something, again, I've done for more than a decade through thousands of articles.
I'm not writing about women here because I am not a woman and therefore don't criticize or judge the journey.
A reason is not the same thing as an excuse. I say repeatedly here that it may not be a man's fault for lack of guidance, but it's his responsibility to fix it. That's the entire point of the article.
