That’s Not REALLY Cheating…Is It?
Where is the line actually drawn?
There’s a phrase in dating-lingo called “micro-cheating.”
As you can guess, it’s doing small things that are just short of crossing the line into actual cheating…(?)
Many of my opinions have evolved over the years — a simple glance through my Facebook memories shows me that regularly (Who was that 22 year old version of myself?) — but my thoughts on cheating have never wavered: It’s unacceptable and there is no excuse for it.
Enter: Micro-cheating.
First of all, this is confusing as hell, because everyone has a different set of boundaries for what’s acceptable in their relationship.
While some people might not mind friendly interaction between their partner and an ex on social media, someone else may feel it crosses the line.
Is it cheating? Micro-cheating? Well — that depends on who you ask.
By definition, Micro cheating (Let’s call it MC from now on) would be “okay” because it’s not actually cheating…or, is it?
