The art of the dinner date is one that few take the time to master. In fact, dating in general has become more like the wild wild west than ever before.
For those who hold themselves to a higher standard, though, there are points of etiquette to be followed during the course of the evening that set you apart from the more…ravenous…pack of wolves.
Plus, if your intention is to court a lady, you must show up like a gentleman.
A few years ago I would’ve been adamant about my suggestion to pick your date up from her home, but many women are uncomfortable with the idea of meeting someone for the first time at their front door — so while I still believe it is polite to offer, you should graciously accept either a yes or a no equally.
